Darbar: the festive edit, in denim
Darbar is the festive edit for this season, and it is cut in denim. Indigo, mostly. The kind that holds a crease at the knee and softens at the elbow after a few wears.
Every piece carries white threadwork, laid over the denim in a loose floral line: along a neckline, down one leg, across the front of a jacket. The stitching is the only ornament. There is no shine, no sequin, nothing that needs to be kept for one night a year.

There are seven looks. A sleeveless tunic over a dhoti pant. A short-sleeved shirt with matching pants. An open jacket over a plain camisole. Two kimono shapes, one grey, one dark. A waistcoat. A V-neck kaftan top. Tops and bottoms are sized on their own, as with every set we make, and each one is cut after you order.

We photographed the edit in a red room, because indigo needs something to lean on. Everything else about the pictures is as plain as the clothes.
The pieces reach the store shortly. If you would like to know when, leave your email in the footer and we will write once, when they are ready.
